Changes to reporting
Segment reporting to be modified from financial year 2026
In view of the strategic reorganisation described above, financial reporting from the 2026 financial year onwards will be changed to reflect a division of Passenger Airlines segment of the Lufthansa Group into two business segments: Network Airlines and Point-to-Point Airlines.
The Network Airlines business segment will comprise the network airlines Lufthansa Airlines, SWISS, Austrian Airlines and Brussels Airlines. Lufthansa Airlines also includes the regional airlines Lufthansa CityLine, Lufthansa City Airlines and Air Dolomiti as well as Discover Airlines, the Lufthansa Group’s German holiday airline. Edelweiss, the leading Swiss holiday airline, is part of SWISS. Revenue generated by the Network Airlines segment came to EUR 27,600m and Adjusted EBIT to EUR 949m in the 2025 financial year.
The Point-to-Point Airlines business segment includes Eurowings and the equity investment in SunExpress, a joint venture with Turkish Airlines. Point-to-Point Airlines generated revenue of EUR 3,077m and Adjusted EBIT of EUR 132m in the 2025 financial year.
